At first glance, the place doesn't look any different from many other kindergartens in Romania. The building is renovated, clean, and ready to welcome children every morning.
And yet, the differences are not always visible in the walls or furniture.
They appear in much simpler things: in what a child eats, in what supplies they have on the table, in how easy it is for them to concentrate and learn.
In Romania, early education still often depends on luck...on the place where you are born and the family you grow up in.
We arrived at the kindergarten in Furculești with food packages and supplies prepared for the little ones. They are not spectacular gestures, but they are things that matter.
Pentru că atunci când lucrurile de bază sunt acolo, copiii pot face ceea ce știu ei mai bine: să fie curioși, să descopere și să învețe.

For Robin Good, these journeys are not isolated visits. They are steps in a longer process. In 2026, we aim for these interventions to become increasingly consistent, because when it comes to children, consistency matters more than any spectacular gesture.
Consistency matters more than any spectacular gesture.
